Where is COCOON Tamarindo located?+
COCOON Tamarindo is located in Tamarindo, Guanacaste, on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. The property is approximately 1 hour from Daniel Oduber International Airport (LIR) in Liberia and 4.5 hours from Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San José.
Can I rent just one accommodation or do I need to book the full estate?+
You have complete flexibility! You can rent any single accommodation — Villa Cocoon, Casa Cocoon, El Nido, or the Cabaña — individually. You can also combine multiple accommodations or rent the entire estate for complete privacy.
What is the Private Concierge service?+
Our team of experienced private concierges is dedicated to ensuring your vacation is flawless. From arranging excursions, private chefs, spa treatments, and transportation to fulfilling any special requests, we handle every detail so you can focus on enjoying your stay.
Is COCOON suitable for weddings and events?+
Absolutely! The Full Estate option is perfect for destination weddings, corporate retreats, and celebrations. The property offers stunning ocean views, ample space for guests, and our concierge team can coordinate every detail of your event.
What are the check-in and check-out times?+
Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability.
Is there airport transfer available?+
Yes! Our concierge can arrange private airport transfers from both Liberia (LIR) and San José (SJO) airports. We recommend flying into Liberia for the shortest and most scenic route to Tamarindo.
What activities are available nearby?+
Tamarindo is a paradise for adventure and relaxation. Activities include surfing, snorkeling, zip-lining, horseback riding, turtle watching, sport fishing, catamaran sailing, and visiting nearby national parks. Our concierge will craft your perfect itinerary.
Is the property family-friendly?+
Yes! Villa Cocoon and Casa Cocoon are excellent choices for families. The property features a private pool (with supervision recommended for children), spacious gardens, and our team can arrange kid-friendly activities and meals.
What is included in the rate?+
All accommodations include WiFi, air conditioning, fresh linens and towels, a welcome amenity, and access to the pool and common areas. Concierge services, private chef, and experiences are available at additional cost.
Do you have a minimum stay requirement?+
During regular season, the minimum stay is 3 nights. During high season (December–April) and holidays, a minimum of 5–7 nights may apply. Please contact us for specific dates.
